Applied Research Journal of Geographic Information System (ARJGIS) is published by Skies Educational, Nigeria. The Journal aims at publishing and disseminating innovative and applied research works relating to the application of Geographical Information System (GIS) for the benefit of humanity and society.
Skies Educational aims at engaging research scholars in applied research for the benefit of humanity and society. Consequently, the organization provides a platform for seminars, public lectures, workshops, conferences and meetings. As a way of making applied research in Geographical Information System (GIS) applications available for the benefit of all, the establishment publishes the Applied Research Journal of Geographic Information System (ARJGIS), a peer-reviewed, international journal.

Our Editorial Board members are scholars in their various application fields of Geographic Information Systems
The journal welcomes the submission of papers on research articles, review articles and short communications. The review process is within two weeks of submission and the accepted articles are processed for inclusion in the current publication and published on-line immediately upon receiving the final version.
